One final cake for my friends 40th Birthday celebrations. When I was looking for inspiration and saw this design I knew I had to try to replicate it for my friend - it’s so her. It was also my first time using the powder & the flowers.

Light lemon sponge, lemon buttercream with a lemon curd filling. Decorated with edible petal powder, gold luster, edible pressed flowers & gold leaf.

Due to working more hours in my main job since September, being a mum to a 6yr & 4yr old, married (practically) to a shift worker & the rising cost in butter/eggs/electricity it’s not financially viable for me to continue this little venture at this time.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me. I’ve loved all of it. I hope in time I can return.

To my friends and family…. You could still always ask for a cake 😝
