Lots of birthdays lately… which can only mean one thing: my oven has been working overtime! 🎂🎉

I’ve been up to my elbows in buttercream, sprinkles, and cake crumbs, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Every cake has been made with a little creativity, a lot of love, and just enough frosting to keep life interesting. 😄

No matter how many birthdays pass, you never stop wanting to do something special for your children 💚

This cake was made with so much love for my daughter’s 40th birthday — a milestone that fills my heart with pride, joy, and just a little disbelief at how quickly the years have gone. From the little girl I once baked for, to the amazing woman she is today… every moment has been a gift.

Beneath the soft buttercream is her all-time favourite — carrot cake 🥕 She’s always said it counts as one of her 5 a day, and that little joke has stayed with us over the years. It felt only right to include it in something made just for her.

Baking has always been my way of showing love, and creating cakes like this means more than words can say. Every detail holds a memory, every layer a little piece of my heart.

Here’s to celebrating life, love, and all the beautiful moments in between 🎂✨
