Bees Alchemy Bees Alchemy Cakes and Confectionery was born from the love of nature, cakes and sweets! I try to cut my plastic usage as much as I can as well!

Over the years, my passion for food and baking desserts has evolved into creating not only something utterly delicious but healthy as well! Motherhood and reading about how important is organic food changed my perspective! Finding out how many chemicals are in the food that I considered healthy shocked me! I bake with the best ingredients I can source, and my packaging is fully biodegradable. Seas

Cremeschnitte… often called custard slice — but they’re not quite the same. 🍰

This is the version I grew up with.
Light. Delicate. No heavy icing — just a soft dusting of sugar.

Layers of crisp pastry…
And in the middle, real custard made slowly, with real vanilla bean.

It should hold its shape, but melt the moment you take a bite.

This one enjoyed a moment in the sunshine before heading to Neath today — and it was a real pleasure to bake.

Simple ingredients, done properly. That’s where the magic is.

We cautiously decided to give Brookie Bakehouse a try, as I’m quite fussy with baked goods and had heard mixed reviews. I’ve actually been watching Brookie’s videos for a few years now and have loved seeing her grow — so I was really rooting for her.
Well… I have to say, the macarons, brownies and cookies were absolutely amazing. The brownies were rich and indulgent, exactly how a proper brownie should be. The cookies were fresh, buttery and incredibly good. And the macarons… they disappeared in seconds — my boys only left me a few bites!
As someone who bakes a lot myself, I really appreciated the quality. Everything tasted homemade, done properly and with good ingredients.
I truly hope I get the chance to visit again sometime.❤️🍰

This is what keeps me baking and going, even when life feels heavy. Knowing that something I made with my hands brings joy to families, kids, and those little moments on the way home… that’s everything.
The kitchen has been busy lately — traditional Romanian sweets, French macarons, chocolate bonbons, festive bakes and a bit of magic everywhere. Feeling festive, even just a little, thanks to this wonderful community of friends who keep supporting, tasting, and sharing the love 🥰

When silky vanilla custard meets rich Valrhona chocolate… magic happens. ✨
Today’s creation in the kitchen: a Saint Honoré tart, also profiteroles and choux , sticky buns and honey carrtot cake😋— a true labour of love.

The air is filled with the scent of caramel, butter, and vanilla — the kind of aroma that makes autumn feel like home 🍂
Slowly, gently, the layers come together — crisp pastry, smooth cream, glossy chocolate — a symphony of sweetness that feels both nostalgic and new.

Because some love stories aren’t told with words… but with whisk, heat, and heart. 💕
