Bit late on this mornings post, we’ve been filling the shop to the BRIMMMM!!

Morning guys! Hope you all had a good weekend!

We’re running a bit behind this morning due to staff sickness 😅 should be open closer to 10 but trying to get through everything rapid!

Soup today- creamy spinach and mushroom or leek and potato, both vegan!

Donner kebabs are back on!

We’ve got slow cooked maple pulled pork! Add it to anything for £4.20 😍

Hi guys! It’s Daisy doing the post today as Nikki and Katy have left me in charge of the Bakehouse this weekend🙈🙈 they are away enjoying there weekend at Alton Towers!!

Just means that the kitchen will be closed this weekend but we still have plenty savoury options for you guys, hot hold is stocked and ready made Sannys and bagels! 😋

Shop is open till 4 today so come and stock up on all our goodies we still have plenty of cakes aswell😁😁

So sorry for the delay, it was a big job to get through all the names and we’ve just not had a second lately.

We have sat for a while and let the eldest child go through ALLLL THE COMMENTSSSS and pick winners!!

Good morning guys!

We hope everybody had a lovely weekend, safe to say we were exhausted and slept like 14 hours into Sunday and finally had a day off after 7 weeks straight 😍

Big man is doing much better, getting back to his cheeky big self, cheeky wee check up tomorrow and hopefully he’s on the right track although we have a couple small concerns but let’s hope they put our minds to rest!!

Sooo it’s well overdue… OUR GIVEAWAY! Obviously recent life events have just got in the way, but since we have the most loyal and generous customers, we’re gonna draw 5 names tonight and not 3!! Keep yer eyes peeled later and hopefully your name will be tagged as a winner in our post!!!

We’re about to open the shop, we’re fully stocked, waiting on a delivery for some breakfast items but apart from that, we’re good to go!

The kitchen will be closed this weekend, Friday 9th & Saturday 10th October, it’s my birthday tomorrow and Katy and my friends booked us a night away months ago. We had more staff at that time and the staff we have at the moment can’t run the kitchen themselves. Usually I’d cancel and rearrange but after the past few months, it’s needed more than ever 😅
We will have plenty sandwiches, bagels, hot & cold pies and sausage rolls to take away but hot food menu will not be running! Hope that’s ok with you lot 😂

Happy Saturday guys! Hope all is well.

Sorry for the quietness, we’ve just been catching up with everything and are pretty drained tbh! But we troop on 👯‍♀️

All cake orders are good to go, we are fully stocked (finally), with over 53 options available today plus hot food, get in!!

Donner kebabs are back on- I think they’re here to stay!!!

Big man update- thank you to everybody who has donated and supported us, showed up to the shop just to ask how we are doing and how he is. He’s good, he’s not amazing, but he’s good. He’s on a high protein diet to get his strength back up and is improving his walking time daily but is knackered very easy so sleeping a lot. He’s getting a bit of his personality back, playing with us and loving being a pampered diva 😂 back at the vets on Wednesday (my birthday yipeeee) and can take it from there. I’ll keep everybody updated though. And again, thank you all so so much for your kindness and generosity!

Katy done an interview with edinburgh live and we’ve had some negative comments like “irresponsible dog owners racking up a bill like that and expecting people to pay it”, “stupid dog owners not having insurance” and a couple more but I’m sure you get the gist… so I just wanna say that I don’t think we’re irresponsible, I’ve had Vinni since he was 8 weeks old, and had insurance for him which I’ve paid monthly religiously since he was 8 weeks and 1 day! The issue with insurance is they don’t always pay out, even though I’ve always paid in. If they do pay, it’s capped at £3000. I’ve actually paid more in than they’ve ever paid out.
Yes the bill racked up rapid, he went to the emergency out of hours vet, which is considerably more expensive than a day appointment and treatment.
The thing is, I’d swallow my pride and do anything for that boy and if it means asking the public for help like I did, then so be it. I’ll take the hate and the negative comments on one of my many chins.

Anyway, thank you all again, from the bottom of all our hearts, we see and appreciate you all. Vinni too 🫶🏼

Goood morning guys!!

Hope all is well with you lot 😍

Sooo we got the call yesterday around 1pm to say we could go collect Vinni, so of course I abandoned work and flew through to edinburgh. He’s still not his usual self but he should get there slowly, cheeky wee check up tonight then he’s back with his mama’s again.

Sooo safe to say I’m super behind with prep today but we do have a little of everything and will be prepping our butts off today to catch up!

I’m so happy to have him home, we’re still a bit off having the money we need to settle the vet bill but we will do everything we can go get the funds.

Thank you to everybody who has donated, we appreciate your generosity so much 🫶🏼

Good morning guys! Happy Sunday!

I’m going to post later with an update on vinni and let you all know how he is and what’s going on.

But for now, just wanna get the mahoooosive thank you out the way. To everybody who has donated something so far, no matter how large or small, in tough times how they are at the moment we know every penny is tight, so we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts, you’re not just helping pay for his ongoing treatment, you guys are helping keep a family together and two wee girls (and a couple of oldish mamas) from broken hearts and for that we cannot thank you enough 😭🫶🏼…

Sooo, today we are at West Lothian college for the producers market! 11-3, although we were running a smidge late, probs be set up for 20 past so please bare with the guys and give them time to get allergens etc out.

Got a good range of bakes and cakes today with some savouries and as promised… motherfudging doughtnuts!! 🍩

We hope to see you guys there, come grab some cakes, get hame, get the heating on and cosy on the couch, it’s a day for it!
