🌟 A GALAXY FAR, FAR AWAY… ✨

A very special Star Wars-inspired 18th birthday cake created for Melissa! 🎂🖤❤️

This one was all about bringing together those classic Star Wars colours and characters while still making it feel like a really striking, grown-up 18th birthday cake. 🚀✨

The cake was finished in a dramatic charcoal/black buttercream, with contrasting red accents, gold detailing and metallic splashes running across the tiers. I absolutely love how all the textures came together on this one — from the rough galaxy-inspired finish and edible crumbs to the little black, white and gold sprinkles scattered across the cake. ✨

The centrepiece had to be that gorgeous gold Star Wars logo, sitting proudly across the front, with MELISSA 18 completing the bottom tier. 🎉

And of course, we couldn't have a Star Wars cake without some familiar faces! ⚔️🌌 The lego character toppers and themed discs were added around the cake, with the little lightsabers bringing even more detail and colour to the design.

I also added those dramatic red buttercream/fondant-style bursts and gold accents around the middle to give the cake a real sense of movement — almost like the cake itself has just come straight out of a battle in a galaxy far, far away! 😂✨

There are honestly so many little details on this cake, and it was one of those designs that you could keep looking at and spot something new each time. 🖤

🎂 Happy 18th Birthday, Melissa! 🥳
I hope you had the most amazing birthday and loved your cake as much as I loved creating it for you! ❤️

May the Force be with you… always. ✨⚔️🌌
