Our Big Dough-nation took us to the fantastic Mires Beck Nursery today! 🌱🪴🥖

Mires Beck is a plant nursery with a difference 👇

Their staff and volunteers work hard to enrich the lives of adults with learning difficulties, autism and physical disabilities, through green therapy as they tend to the plants with conservation and sustainability in mind.

It was wonderful to meet everyone and feel the warmth of community that you've built 🫶 thanks for making us feel so welcome!

Mires Beck is clearly made up of true local heroes worthy of some fresh sourdough bread to brighten their days.

Thanks everyone for your nominations, we enjoyed reading about the brilliant things going on around us - keep doing what you do! 💪🦸‍♀️

EY-UP! It's Yorkshire Day! 🐑

As a proudly Yorkshire-based bakery, we love to keep things local wherever possible! 🏡

Just like our sourdough focaccia with a Yorkshire twist.
Made with beautifully golden Yorkshire rapeseed oil from our friends at Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil, just up on the wolds! 💛

You can find our focaccia on cafe and restaurant menus across the region 🍽, and it does make a bloomin' good sarnie 🥪 - although we do say so ourselves! 😉

🥖🚜 Bishop Wilton Show 🚜🥖

We're proud to be part of the East Yorkshire food community and today was a proper celebration of agriculture in our region 🌾🚜🐑

Our little boy, Henry, loved seeing all the horses, tractors and sheep!
He even had the confidence to say "hello" to some of our customers across the day - he's still in training, so please excuse his customer service style! 🙈

Thanks for a sellout day - we hope to be back next year with more loaves for you lovely folks 🥖
