As we come to the end of the May half term, I'd like to focus on the positives despite the disruptions and challenges we've faced.
It's not easy running a business, and I know I'm not the only business owner facing difficult times. There are so many challenges behind the scenes that people don't always see, but we keep showing up, doing our best, and pushing forward.
We have survived, we have persevered and we have conquered.
A huge thank you to everyone who has visited us, supported us, recommended us, and continued to stand by us. We are incredibly grateful for our wonderful community and the kindness you've shown throughout this journey.
I don't know what the future holds, but I do know that your support means everything. We truly couldn't do this without you.

“Today felt different in Broadstairs ❤️
The town was full of happy faces, families enjoying themselves, visitors exploring, and a lovely atmosphere all around. Even the police presence felt friendly and reassuring.
We had people sitting outside the tea room all day enjoying the sunshine, tea, cake, and the beautiful surroundings — and it honestly felt like Broadstairs is beginning to shine again.
This town has so much to offer, and days like today remind us why we love being here. ☀️☕️🍰

I am so determined to get across that Broadstairs is a lovely town. We need all the visitors throughout the summer so that many of us can survive the winter months.
I’m incredibly passionate about our town and our community, but people also need to understand that we are all human beings just trying to do our jobs.
All day today I’ve listened to people moaning about Tesco, but has anyone stopped to think about how the staff might feel? They work hard every day, often under pressure, and a little kindness and patience goes a long way.
We all want visitors to enjoy Broadstairs, support local businesses, and have a wonderful experience here — but please remember the people serving you are members of this community too.
