The Assembly Bakery began life in the Old Market Assembly Kitchen. Demand for our products soon grew and we expanded next door into 27 West Street. All our products are handmade onsite using the best ingredients we can, and with consideration for our environmental impact. We now offer a range of delicious and healthy sandwich options with plenty for vegans and vegetarians as well as our seasonal selection of breakfast pastries, savouries, delightful cakes and artisan breads

It is with a very heavy heart that we are announcing from today the closure of the Assembly Bakery. Thank you for being a part of our family, thank you for your custom, and thank you for supporting artisanal bread! It has been an honour for us to serve the community over the last five and a half years and we are sad to say goodbye but then all good things come to an end. 😌♥️
