A little stunner of a short three tier set up at last month.

Delivering a wedding cake to a wedding you are actually attending as a guest is a whole other level of stress. I did in fact forget everything except for the cake itself (priorities!) that morning - meaning I did wear two left shoes the whole day long 🙃 but worth it for this beauty ✨

Being trusted with these orders is such a joy. Whether you're giving me a scan envelope for a gender reveal or your mum is ordering you an engagement cake because she's 99% certain you're being proposed to that weekend - it fills my heart to the brim to be part of your little surprise!

A stunning mid height, three tier wedding cake set up at Kingscote Barn last year.

I always have to be ready for all eventualities during wedding set ups, not always is there a pretty cake table set up and ready for me. Every venue is different (in this instance the cake table was set up for signing the register during the ceremony - definitely wouldn't be ideal for a massive cake to be in the way at that point!) but that is half the joy of wedding deliveries. The wonderful kitchen team had a space cleared and ready for me to add all the final touches before I left it in their capable hands to move into situ later in the day.

Definitely one of the most rewarding and satisfying parts of this job though - arriving with a cake in multiple parts, no decorations and then leaving it as a tall floral beauty is just the best feeling 🤍
