Here it is. The day I deliver my last wedding cake as a business.

What are the chances it would fall on the day of the winter solstice. The day to let go of the old and welcome the new.

I have loved being a part of so many amazing celebrations over the years. I am grateful to have brought so much joy to so many people.

But it's time for a change. We all go through cycles of change, and this is part of my journey. Part of my transition.

You may not have seen me for a while but I'm still here 👋.

Whilst I will no longer be taking orders, I am still here to teach what I know. I have 8 years experience in designing, making, decorating, delivering, and setting up cake of all sizes, for all sorts of occasions and still plan to help cake makers uplevel their business!

The first thing I have prepared is a tutorial to show you (in great detail) how to set up a tiered cake with a sturdy central dowel.

This will make your life so much easier if you usually take your wedding cakes in separate tiers and set up at the venue.

Delivering it stacked saves so much time, and by following my STEP BY STEP instructional videos, eliminates the risk of sliding tiers.

Over the last 8 years I have created so many wonderful cakes for your weddings and celebrations and that makes me so proud. Today I am ready to tell the world that I am no longer taking on any more orders.

Over the last 2 years I have learnt a lot about myself, and like many, have been through lots of changes. My self development journey has seen a new passion arise in my life, which is the power of mindset. Having a positive mindset has guided me through some really s**t situations.

I love how they asked me to place the "topper" in an alternative place.....I quite often think a topper can ruin the design of a cake but in this case I think it compliments it perfectly due to the placement.

-working things out for myself
-sleepless nights
-watching endless tutorials on YouTube
-lots of trial and error
-not having anyone to talk to who truly understood.

Six years later looking back, I wish I had some support. Someone who was dedicated to helping reduce the burden and the stress; there to answer questions and importantly, offer me emotional support. I truly underestimated the emotional investment required.
