Hello you lovely lot - been a while hasn’t it! I’ve been drafting this for a ages in my head, it’s been a long time coming. It’s been a blast running Pearly King for the last decade (whaaaat!) but it’s time for me to move on, and for the biz to get a blast of fresh air . I’m absolutely thrilled to have found a new owner to take the business forward, the wonderful Juliet . She has years of experience and I couldn’t have wished for a safer and more brilliant pair of hand to pass things over to. I know she will be doing amazing things with it, and she will be reopening celebration cake orders up again from mid September.
A huge Thankyou to everyone who has supported me over the years, my amazing wholesale customers who have continued to champion small business through thick and thin. And to all my celebration and wedding cake customers I’ve loved contributing to all of your special days, it’s been an absolute privilege. Juliet is going to be running Pearly King from her current kitchen on Bedminster rather than taking on the shop so for the time being it’s going to be empty. But I’m looking forward to seeing new owners in there soon 🤞🤞🤞(if you are looking for a shop shout!). So I’m off to do some life living. If you’d like to be friends you can still follow me . It’s mainly pretty pictures of my garden or cat. Because that’s what I do outside of cake.
