Christine contacted me last minute for a cake for her daughter's 40th birthday.
I was so tempted to say no because of the soaring temperatures up to 37 degrees heat in my kitchen.
I thought, how can I help this lady?
My only option was to bake through the night when it was cooler
(26 degrees)??
Also her daughter's name was the same as mine so I had to do it!
I was so pleased with the pure elegance of this cake.
The sponge inside rose so well that it made it taller and more impressive..

This week's Face of Frost Yourself is Connie.
She was celebrating her 18th birthday 🎂
I was so pleased when her mum Karen a friend of over 25 years asked me to create her cake.
The theme was black and cream so the perfect cake was a black and cream Lambeth heart cake.
Inside was 4 layers of fluffy vanilla sponge with vanilla frosting and a whole jar of strawberry conserve. I think it went down really well x ❤️‍🩹

He has just become a teenager and turned 13...
So a Biscoff filled sponge finished in blue vanilla frosting, with picture toppers of all his favourite things, fondant beats headphones and also some amazing jelly burger 🍔 pizza 🍕 and fries 🍟... Look how pleased this handsome chap is...
