Wedding & celebration cakes for North Somerset, Bristol & the South West. I bake with excellent quality ingredients, including eggs from our own hens.

Please email for enquiries as I don’t always see enquires sent on FB messenger: [email protected] Based in Congresbury, North Somerset, I've been baking cakes professionally since 2014. I create beautiful bespoke buttercream wedding and celebration cakes for my customers in North Somerset, Bristol and the South West. I also offer smaller bakes and treat boxes of brownies, cake slices and cupcakes, which are perfect for a gathering or work event. Many of the ingredients I use are supplied by our fantastic local village shop, Re:Store Congresbury. Keeping my supply chain as local as possible is really important to me as I strive to be as sustainable as possible. Many of my decorative ingredients come from my own garden, where I grow a small selection of edible flowers. My business is registered with North Somerset Council. I hold a Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene certificate. If you're looking for a beautiful cake that is thoughtfully made, please get in touch by email or take a look at my website www.rowantreebakery.co.uk - thank you!

Congratulations to Pippa & Perry, who married on 5th September ♥️

It was such a pleasure making this extra long red velvet cake for you, a whole metre of it!

I had to get my glue gun out for this one and make the cake board because nowhere sells cake boards this big! I also made a net covering for the cake to keep it safe until cutting time. Any excuse to use the glue gun :)

Thank you Sasha and Katie for the amazing dahlias that bring the cake to life Sacha Przewieslik-Allen and 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐲, 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐞 & 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐞

And the biggest thank you to my Mum, who had to transport this cake for me last minute when I realised it was too big to fit in my car! 🙏

We’re currently in dahlia season, so here’s a throwback to some experiments with Sacha Przewieslik-Allen in her studio. Dahlia’s are my absolute favourite flower to work with on cakes. There’s countless varieties, colours and crazy petal structures. Plus they’re very sturdy and don’t wilt or drop their petals easily, making them ideal for a centrepiece cake.

Loving this gorgeous colour 🦚
I ordered a dark teal shade of icing colouring last week to make my life easier, but it didn’t arrive in time, so I mixed this myself with yellow + sky blue + navy blue. Really happy with how it turned out, and so was my lovely customer!

Eleanor & Kit
23rd May 2026
Venue - Goldney House, Bristol

A first time visit for me to this lovely venue in Clifton.
Delivering in the May heatwave up one of the steepest hills in Bristol added an extra challenge!

Eleanor and Kit chose 3 extra long rectangular cakes, so they could cut the cakes and serve the guests themselves. A lovely idea and much easier than dismantling and cutting tiered round cakes.

Congratulations Eleanor & Kit!🥂

Surely one of the most fun parts of wedding planning is deciding on your cake flavour? Hope you enjoy these Jen and Rich!

A couple of pics of Sharon & Dave’s wedding cake from 1st May, a wedding I was also a guest at, so it was a nice change to get out of my apron and dress up! 👗

We were looked after so well by Sarah and the team - top service from both a supplier and a guest point of view!

Thank you to Sacha for the amazing cake flowers - alliums, tulips and sweet rocket in purple shades (she is never phased by any colour scheme or theme I request! 😉)

Looking forward to seeing official photos from the lovely Sarah
