Hello! Hope everyone is well. I have finally started sorting through my equipment and will have some things available for sale soon. Is it worth me posting on here? 13 years ago (almost to the day) I started my little homebased cupcake business. I never anticipated how much it would grow, how many amazing customers would return time and time again and how many friends (cake makers and customers) I would make along the way. 3 years ago Covid struck and since then many small businesses including my own have struggled. On top of that there are the massive price increases on ingredients and supplies to contend with. After much thought I have decided it is now time to hang up my apron and with immediate effect Hey Cupcakes is closed for business. It’s not been an easy decision but the time is right for me to take my working life in a different direction.

I want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported me over the last 13 years. To the person who pushed me to take a chance in the first place, to the amazing friends I have made along the way who will remain in my life forever, to my family who have put up with me working unsociable hours and having “cake stuff everywhere”, to my mum who has just been amazing and to the many, many customers who have trusted me with their special occasions. I am truly grateful to you all.
