A little reintroduction… 👋🏻

Well… I seem to have gained quite a few new followers lately, so I thought it was probably time to say hello again!

For anyone who doesn’t know me, I’m Lucy, the person behind Cake Me A Cake.

I’ve been making cakes for around 13 years now, which is crazy when I think about it! What started out as something I loved doing as a hobby has grown into my full-time business, and I honestly feel very lucky that I get to do something I love every day.

I have a wonderful husband who supports the madness behind the scenes, puts up with my cake brain and helps me when I’m having one of those days!

I’m a mum, so when I’m not working in the kitchen, I’m still in the kitchen! I love being outside, getting out and about, spending time with my family and friends — basically anything to entertain 3 boys! 😂

As for Cake Me A Cake…

I make almost all my own cake decorations, edible figures, toppers, card and printed images. I also make handmade fondant decorations and toppers for other bakers, so there’s nearly always something cake-related going on around here!

It’s funny looking back at my first introduction and seeing how much things have changed since then. Cake Me A Cake has grown, I’ve learnt so much along the way and I’ve met so many lovely people through doing what I do.
