🚀FUTURE IS OVER! 🚀
Thank you so much to all our customers and supporters, suppliers, collaborators, past and present staff, friends and family who have helped us along the way since we opened September 2021.
Future Doughnuts didn’t go the way we planned it to- we’re closing prematurely with a bunch of debt. But we’re also closing with a huge sense of pride for what we achieved- the kind words, cards, gifts and gestures people have shown us and our team over the last couple of weeks have shown us how special our little shop was to many of you.
We set out for FD to be a happy space. We wanted to pay our staff a real living wage, and we wanted to make the best doughnuts we could using ethical ingredients. Unfortunately that has meant consistently struggling to make those goals compatible with a cost of living crisis and Tory government.
We’ll be selling off ingredients (bring your own packaging), kitchenware and furniture Saturday 22nd July 10am-1pm so feel free to come along to grab some bits! We’ll have our recipe folders out too so you can recreate FD at home! Feel free to park out front, we’ll share more info about what will be available over the next two weeks.
