The Bun Box

We sell iced lattes all year but in October we make ‘em spooky! Back for the 3rd year running and the only social media trend I will get behind; the spooky iced latte is back tomorrow! Available til Halloween 👻

I get asked quite often “do you have anything for dogs?” and it got me thinking 🤔 Now you *know* that if I had the facilities I’d be cooking full blown breakfasts for your dogs because it’s no secret that I just love them all so much 🧡
•
Sadly a hot box and a coffee machine don’t allow me to scramble eggs and fry sausages BUT I have expanded our homemade biscuit selection to create The Barkfast Box 🦴
•
🎃 A pumpkin + smokey bacon soft baked biscuit
🐓 A chicken broth + sesame seed biscuit
🌭 A pork (dog) sausage
🐐 A goats milk puppaccino (because it’s more easily digested than cows milk)
🧀 And of course, everyone’s favourite cheesy bone
•
All made with no nasties, just a whole lotta love. A little something for our favourite four-legged customers to enjoy with their humans 🧡 Available at the trailer for £4.95.

Freshly baked buns + pastries and a chunky apple + blackberry crumble cake with apples from our customer Tom’s garden and blackberries foraged by our Stacey 🧡 they say it takes a village; seemingly that’s not just to keep small businesses going but to bake lovely autumnal cakes too! The Bun Bus is looking good today - here til 1pm 🍁

Guys, I HATE doing this, but it’s been 3 years since I’ve made any adjustments to our coffee prices and I really can’t put it off any longer 🥲
•
I think it’s lush that so many of us see our daily coffee as one of life’s little joys, and I really hope that, in this crazy economy, we never get to a point where £7 coffees are considered “normal” 😅
(£5.25 for a vanilla latte at Costa already seems absolutely bonkers to me… although I hope that at least means they’re paying their staff well 😂)
•
So, in an attempt to absorb some of our increased costs while still keeping things as fair as possible for you, we’ll be increasing the price of our coffee by 10p.
For context, this makes a regular latte £3.60 and a vanilla latte £4. The price of alternative milks will stay the same. 🧡
•
I really hope you’ll continue to support our little business. It genuinely makes my day when you tell us how much you enjoy our coffee, and we’re so grateful that you choose to spend a tiny part of your day with us.
We’ll keep doing our best to make sure your coffee remains one of life’s little joys — without needing to remortgage the house for it 😂🧡
•
P.s I don’t have any photos on my phone of instagrammable latte art (lol) so here’s Ollie waiting for his coffee x

New kitchen? Completed it mate ✅ This weekend’s move went like an absolute dream (can’t believe it tbh) and if you’d seen how much stuff we had you’d be horrified that we managed it in two days. Big love to my parents and our friends for helping to clean, organise, move stuff, fit the electrics and do the plumbing - amazing team 🧡
•
We won’t be open tomorrow (Monday) cos we just need *one* day to rest but we’ll be back + baking on Tuesday!
•
P.s thank you for all your well-wishing messages over the weekend, we all expected to see the oven face down on the dual carriageway and Al raging in the hard shoulder didn’t we ###

F*ck Cancer •

This post is a little different from my usual content, but it’s something that’s really important to me. 🧡
Cancer affects so many of us, and I meet people almost every day who either have family members affected by it or have been diagnosed themselves.
•
My brother, Russ, has been fighting Stage 4 cancer since 2021. Over the last year, he’s found ingenious ways to use AI to help him take back control—managing his treatment plan, tracking symptoms, organising medication schedules, and so much more.
All of these tools are available to use for free on his website, .ai, and they work alongside wearable tech like Apple Watches and WHOOP bands.
•
I know AI can be a controversial topic, but like Russ, I believe that when it’s used in the right ways, it can benefit us all (this doesn’t include making event posters 🤦🏻‍♀️).
•
My brother explains all of this far better than I can on The Many Faces of Cancer podcast with MELISSA GROSBOLL, DC, CPT, CES - CANCER EXERCISE SPECIALIST, so I’ll pop the link in our bio if you’d like to have a listen.
If you or someone you know is battling cancer, please feel free to share the podcast or my brother’s website with them.
•
Cancer is a little less scary when we talk about it together, and I hope that, although this post isn’t about cake, buns, or coffee, it might help someone in a much more important way. 🧡
