Hobbs House Bakery was established in the Cotswolds in the 1920’s and we are a true family business with five generations of baking experience. We are now bringing up the sixth generation of aspiring bakers. We believe that handmade bread should be available to everyone. At our bakery in Chipping Sodbury our expert team of bakers produce an exceptional range of high quality breads, pastries and confectionery.

Over the years, plenty has changed at Hobbs. We’ve grown, learned and found new ways to do some things but one thing has remained the same… our love for good bread!

We’ve always believed that good bread is worth the time. And in a world full of cutting corners to speed up production, we’re proud to still be making bread using simple, quality ingredients 🌾

We’re delighted to be among the first group of B Corps to certify under the new B Corp standards.

Ever since we first became a B Corp back in 2019, we have been on a journey to continually challenge ourselves to do better for our people, our communities and our planet 🌍

The new standards give us fresh opportunities to learn, improve and keep raising the bar to ensure we continue to have a positive impact.

Sandwich Sunday 😎

This week, we’ve taken our Sherston loaf and made it thick-sliced (should we do this permanently? 👀).

We’ve taken it and made this delicious BLT sarnie, with extra chilli jam to add a little something extra.
