OH Dear!!!! I think we may have gone a bit overboard with buns for the Fika-Market this Saturday.
The bakers have made two new Savoury croissants on top of our usual ones (one with feta cheese, Brie & wild garlic, the other one with Smoked ham& mustard) so we now have 4 different savouries … or it might be 5, I’m not sure.
We’ve also poached lovely rhubarb with some cardamom today that we will bake with vanilla buns and crumble topping ❤️
I’ve made lots (LOTS!) of chocolate & pistachio buns that Vitor is baking off about 9am tomorrow morning so they will arrive warm. He will also bake off Saffron brioches that I will fill with vanilla cream down at the market from about 10.30am.
There will be Cinnamon and cardamom of course, Soda breads, chocolate cookies, Princess cake, Creme brûlée buns, a few small cakes for last minute celebrations and lots more!!
Come pick up your picnic treats or bring some Fika down to the beach!!! It looks like a lovely sunny weekend.
