An incredible fundraising effort from the team taking on the Albanian Alps Trek 2026, who have already raised over £12,000 for Dementia Jersey! 🙌

Taking on a challenging trek through the spectacular Albanian Alps, the group are helping to raise vital funds and awareness for a charity that supports people affected by dementia and their families across Jersey.

🌊 HE DID IT! What an achievement, Dinger! 🙌

After an incredible 327 days at sea, Dave ‘Dinger’ Bell has finally stepped back onto dry land, completing an extraordinary solo and unsupported row across the Pacific and Indian Oceans.

Setting off from Peru in November 2025, Dave 'Dinger' Bell rowed more than 15,000 nautical miles, finally reaching Kilifi, Kenya on Friday. One man. One boat. Two oceans. 💪🌊

And behind this phenomenal challenge is an equally important cause.

Dinger has been raising funds for Rock 2 Recovery UK , supporting members of the Armed Forces, veterans, Emergency Services and their families affected by stress.

His Sports Giving page has already raised over £120,000, but the fundraising doesn't have to stop just because the rowing has.

This Sunday, runners will take on the Standard Chartered Jersey Marathon, and for many, the miles will mean even more thanks to the causes they’re supporting along the way.

🚢🇫🇷 And they’re off! The JET Jaunt 2026 starts today! 🇮🇹

Teams are setting out on one seriously fun adventure: racing from St Malo to Rome in just four days.

There’s no set route, no flights and no hitch-hiking. Instead, teams will need plenty of teamwork, quick thinking and a little bit of luck as they make their way across Europe, with mystery checkpoints adding a few surprises along the way. 🗺️

But behind all the fun is a brilliant cause.
The teams are raising money for Jersey Employment Trust, helping support Islanders with disabilities or long-term health conditions into work and training opportunities. The fundraising efforts are already fantastic, and there’s still plenty of opportunity to get behind the teams as they race towards Rome. 💚🩷

🏊 Good luck to everyone taking on the Cotswold Big Swim Festival this weekend!

Swimmers will be heading to Cleveland Lakes on Saturday for a day of open water swimming, with distances ranging from 750m right through to the 10K challenge.

Alongside taking on their own challenge, participants can also use the event to support Cotswold Lakes Trust, helping raise money for the work they do across the Cotswold Water Park.

Whether you’re racing, fundraising, supporting or simply soaking up the atmosphere, we hope you have a fantastic day. 💙

Every climb has a purpose. 🩷🚴

Next week, the Curistas of Le Cure De France will head into the French Alps for another extraordinary cycling challenge, all in support of breast cancer research atThe Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

Since Le Cure began in 2014, the event has raised millions of pounds to help fund pioneering breast cancer research, with every rider taking on the challenge while raising vital funds.

Across four demanding days in the Alps, the Curistas will tackle some incredible climbs, united by one shared goal: helping to make a difference through research.

🚴 464 miles. Six weeks. One very special Journey 💛

Jersey teenager Rosie is taking on an incredible cycling challenge, riding 464 miles, the same distance from her home in Jersey to the UK hospital where her younger sister Esme is receiving specialist treatment.

Along for every mile will be a Family First Brave Bear attached to Rosie’s bike, matching the bear her sister has with her in hospital and providing a special reminder that, even when families are separated, they are never truly alone.

Rosie is taking on the challenge to give back to Family First Jersey, which supports Island families when a child needs to travel off-island for specialist medical treatment.

The response has already been amazing. Rosie originally set out to raise £500 and has already raised more than four times her original target. 👏

Every extra donation will help Family First continue providing practical and emotional support to families when they need it most.

🌊 Tomorrow, teams will take on the Jersey France Challenge 2026!

Starting from the shores of Jersey, swimmers will tackle an incredible 14-mile relay across the Channel to France, working together to reach the finish near Carteret.

But this challenge is about much more than reaching the other side.

Participants have already raised an incredible £42,000+ for Dementia Jersey, helping the charity continue its vital work supporting people affected by dementia across the Island. 💙

A huge good luck to everyone taking part tomorrow, from the swimmers in the water to the skippers and support crews helping them along the way.

🌊 Two days. One coastline. Four determined adventurers 🌊

On 8 and 9 August, the Coast Busters will take on an incredible coasteering challenge around Jersey’s rugged coastline to raise money for Healing Waves - Ocean Therapy

Over two days, the team will tackle cliffs, rocks, caves, currents, jumps and open-water swims, all in support of a charity helping Islanders with physical, neurological and mental health challenges access the therapeutic benefits of the ocean.

They have raised £250 towards their £1,000 target so far. Every donation will help them move closer to their goal.
