All good things, must come to an end 💘

5 years in Brighouse on the high streets has been incredible, very stressful at times but so rewarding in so many aspects and I’m so grateful to have had such incredible humans help me and work for me along the way 💫

Without my staff, I’d be nowhere, they’ve all been fantastic and will all have a special place in my heart forever

But the high street game was not meant to be and I’m blaming the government and tax man for a lot of that 🤣🫣

No regrets, just insane memories to look back on and lessons learnt.

Owning a business is not for the faint hearted let me tell you that, I’ve had some challenges over the years, but I wouldn’t change any of it. It’s been insanely fun and no regrets.
Little me playing cafes through my grandmas conservatory windows at the age of 9, would be buzzing I got to live out a little wild dream.

My advice to anyone who’s thinking of starting up their own business, it’s tough but no regrets, if you want it go for it because you’ll only regret the chances you didn’t take! ❤️

Lastly, if you do shop in Brighouse or live locally. Please continue to support our small independent business’, people can say what they like - but there is real people with real business’ struggling and we don’t want any more closures 💫
We need to keep Brighouse alive and kicking xx

Well, the day has finally come 💘

A mixture of emotions right now to say the least, has it hit me yet that the doors close for the final time this afternoon??? absolutely not ( pray for me when it does ).

I have 3 incredible humans closing down the shop today for me as unfortunately as gutted as I am, i’m not able to personally be there 😢

Mia, Carmen and Annette are on hand today 10am - 4pm to serve you all one last time x

We are open for Bakes, Coffee, Cold + Other Hot Drinks, Shakes and Ice-Creams only 🍪

When I’m in the right headspace I’ll be back and in touch as to what’s happening next, but i’m not going anywhere❗️
Well.. technically I am but.. just because the Brighouse shop is coming to end, definitely doesn’t mean Livs Bakes n Cakes is.
and you’ll be able to buy off me again, hopefully sooner than you think x

This is STILL happening NEXT weekend - Sunday 6th September.

To clear up all the messages I have been receiving since last nights announcement ~ this date has not and will not be changing.

Today and Tomorrow is your last chance to enjoy your bakes, ice cream, shakes and coffee in store 💘

From October - I am still continuing my business just on my own creating occasion orders and attending local events, football etc etc.

Next Sunday ~ we will be doing a ‘ car boot sale ‘ but in the shop x

There will be TONNES of items for sale ~ from cute glasses, mugs, plates, teapots, then of course commercial items from chairs, to crepe and waffle makers. ice cream machine etc etc!

You do NOT need to be a business to come, anyone can come and if you wanna spend £2 on 2 cute matcha cups and a candle you can absolutely do that x

Some items will also be on the commercial side of things, so if you’re interested. please ASK when you come on Sunday and we can show you. 💘

Could be a cute lil morning out and think about it, don’t have to get up at 5am like a normal car boot or trek round a field 💫💘
