The (not so) great British weather has scuppered our plans. Not only has The Dorchester Kite Festival been postponed, but it now also looks too windy to be in Bridport Market tomorrow. Thankfully we weren’t too far through the baking when we heard about the festival (thank you organisers for making the decision early) so all is not lost. Just another challenge of running a small business that makes perishable goods 🤷‍♀️.

Hello Bakewell Blondie (I can hear the collective sigh of relief across the country) . The wait is over. Our oh so popular Bakewell Blondies is back. Rich white chocolate with raspberries, almond flavouring and toasted almond topping. Not to mention the chunks of white chocolate within. Happy first day of summer.

I’d just like to take a minute to say a huge WELL DONE to all my fantastic food trader family (as we think of ourselves) for managing to trade during the extreme heat of this bank holiday weekend. To say it was challenging is an understatement and yet we still all find time to help each other unload, load up, deliver drinks, check we’re all ok and just generally be there for ANYTHING that anyone needs.
