Bakers of refined ,sliced bread have seen their profits fall by £1.7 million in 2024 compared with a profit of £1.1 million the previous year.( source: Wales online). This is because customers are buying artisan/ home made bread. This is more expensive but it’s a completely different product. Try it and see! Free samples @ the cafe.
