This weeks cake is emulating a historic family tree for a big birthday! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🌳

We've covered our decadent chocolate sponge with chocolate buttercream, and carefully crafted in-house shortbread leaves and dark chocolate for the bark of the tree trunk! A pleasure to create a cake with such great meaning 💝

Spotlight ingredients: our own eggs 🥚, Scottish flours and butter, British sugars, in house made shortbread leaves, and fairtrade dark chocolate. 😋🍫

Since 2022 we have been in partnership with The Burnside Apartment 👩‍🍳🏡

Creating delicious, melt-in-your-mouth shortbread for all of their guests, packaged and ready to use! The shortbreads are cut using a bespoke cutter that we partnered with the owners to create to their specifications 🥰

Unfortunately, we have decided to end supply for the time being at Farm to Table after almost two years working together, we will miss all of our lovely customers we have gotten to know!

This decision has come about as I start to make some difficult choices surrounding maternity leave, and the finishing of a Masters Degree to which I am currently enrolled in 🙈

All cakes and traybakes will still be available to order direct, and additional products will be sold in partnership with Dani’s bees! 🍯🥰

Ever since I was little, I have wanted to start my own bake service. With a fully equipped, hygiene approved and registered business, I am finally living my dream. Tamsyn Bakes Ltd. is named such because I bakes for YOU. No matter what occasion it is, I want to be there for you, to make your day easier and provide amazing baked goods.

In every bake I create, I showcases a local ingredient from within a 45-mile radius of my kitchen in Glen Esk, Scotland. I hope that this will inspire future bakes and create a feeling of community within my business.

You can order your bakes through the order system on this website and by keeping up with me on social media to see when and where I am showcasing our products next. Thank you for supporting local businesses.
