Hey guys, I’m Katie — the face behind the page! ✨

Sue me, I used AI to add one of my cakes to my picture because no, I do NOT look like this whilst decorating, nor should you expect me to look remotely close to this when collecting your orders! I do apologise for not making more effort, but the flour and buttercream covered clothes show how dedicated I am to meeting your expectations 🫠🤣

With a few new faces around here, I thought it was time to introduce myself and share a little about what I can offer🧁

I started decorating cakes whilst on maternity with my youngest, nearly 4 years ago, starting with close friends and family and somehow finding myself apart of making someone’s biggest day of their lives a little extra special. I’ve loved this little journey so far 🥹🤍

So, what can you expect from Katie’s Cakes & Bakes?

Buttercream is my speciality, to which I’ve generously received lovely feedback from (not too toot my own horn or anything 🙄) but I’m a complete perfectionist, so I won’t stop until you’re given exactly (if not more) than what you’ve asked for🫶🏼

I cater for all occasions and serving sizes, from small birthday celebrations, to showering beautiful mamas to be… I also design and make most of the cake toppers you see on my cakes, which allows me to offer decorations for store bought cakes, or even cakes you’ve wanted to bake yourself 🍰

My favourite part will always be your reactions when I send that finished cake picture. 🥹 Whether it’s a little one seeing their favourite characters or someone receiving a cake filled with all their favourite things. It’s so much more than a cake, it’s a way of showing someone just how loved they are, and being part of that is why I love what I do. 🤍

To everyone who continues to order from me, and to all my new and future customers, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You’re helping me do something I love whilst providing the best I can for my two boys, and that means more than you know. 🫶🏼

There’s so much more I want to bring to Katie’s Cakes & Bakes, and I can’t wait to share it with you all!
