I made this for my gorgeous friend's birthday, and as we were having Mexican for dinner, I thought a churro and chocolate sauce cake would go well. I was definitely thinking a lot about my son's abuela while I decorated this with the Mexican embroidery detail.

I really loved combining with the vintage piping for this cake. I think his colours work perfectly for the antique style. Both the cake and pom pom are lemon and raspberry, and he had matching cuppies for guests to take away.
