Small businesses are the backbone of this country. Creating the jobs, serving our communities, supporting local families, bringing life to our high streets, and keeping money moving in the real economy.

So if you’ve been meaning to support a small business this week, this is your final reminder.

Instead of defaulting to a massive online corporation, choose a small business.

Pop into an independent shop.

Book with someone local.

Order from a small producer.

Leave a review.

Recommend a business you love.

We’re hoping that the rain will hold off a bit over the weekend as The Cake Shed will be open.

We are busy planning the menu and are hoping to have a new brownie flavour for you all to enjoy.

80th birthday cake to celebrate Anthony’s birthday.

Loved the simplicity of the balloons and stars.

The cake was very much enjoyed which is always lovely to hear.
