Whether it's a wedding, family party or corporate event, nothing completes the scene like a cake. Kasserina creates bespoke cakes that make your party stand out, and really do taste as good as they look! "Kasserina has a reputation for stunning cake designs and fabulous flavours. Kass doesn't do anything half-heartedly so no corners are cut, artificial flavours are out and disappointment is banished! She has become very well known for her attention to detail (check out her sugar flowers!) and the thought process and overall finish of her cakes speaks of someone who simply will not give a client anything substandard. Setting Kasserina apart, is her passion for using great quality natural ingredients not synthetic substitutes. There's oodles of high end melted dark chocolate in the chocolate frosting here, and you can really tell. No artificial vanilla essence, no orange flavouring, no "strawberry-like” something or other... when Kass says her flavours are fresh and delicious, she really means it! With the sea right on her doorstep, maybe that has influenced the way she thinks about her work. Either way, this caketress has mastered the art of making the impossible look easy.”

What do you love most about your job? I love the process, and I can be really proud of what I've done, but I'm like a mother hen with my cakes and there's simply nothing better than seeing the look on people's faces when what they'd hoped for comes to life in front of them. I've always been really craft and cooking oriented and my Mum used to make wedding cakes when I was kid so it just seemed like a natural thing to do. Why should clients choose you? I do think my cakes are more special than most, but also I'm more flexible than most and happy to find the best fit for my clients, rather than the easiest fit for me!"

2026 at the NEC is on it’s way and I’m incredibly proud to announce that I will be demonstrating flower making again with them this year. This time I’ll be showing how to make these mini-crysanthemum from scratch, how to graduate the colour and explaining how to scale them up. Plus you get to have a go and take your flowers away too!

There will be lots of flower-making and other skills on show from an amazing team if creatives accross the weekend too. know how to throw a party!!

I’ll be there on Friday 6th and Sunday 8th Nov, stand F40, so pop by and say hi 👋.
