It’s a controversial one…but let’s talk about wedding cake pricing 👀🎂
I know it can seem strange that a wedding cake costs more than a celebration cake of a similar size, but there’s a lot more to it than simply changing the occasion on the order form.
From the design process and consultations to the extra planning, delivery, venue setup and responsibility of creating a cake that needs to look its best throughout a wedding day, there’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes.
Every cake takes time, care and skill, but wedding cakes come with additional work and a different level of service, and I think it’s important to talk about that.
It’s not about charging more just because it’s a wedding. It’s about charging fairly for the work involved 🤍
