Apple Strudel, German Christmas Markets? Then you hit the right place here, when it comes to cakes and other bakes. We Bavarians have a rich inheritance of really delicious cakes. Traditional home-baking is very popular and Sundays never passed without a nice cake in the afternoon, when I was little. Loads of them are made with nuts or quark (cheese, fromage blanc), nut creams, marzipan and poppy. So expect sweet surprises! Most of the recipes have been passed straight down in my family, and because Austria and Swiss are very appreciated neighbours in our Alpine region there are also some famous cakes and bakes from these countries, which we make right here in Bolton. So, I loved to make cakes and biscuits all my life and just started my business in 2018, and it has grown to be a well loved local treasure. Pop in anytime for a taste of Bavaria!

Good morning lovely Boltonians and Food Festival goers!
The pretzels are out of the oven - the weather is nice til about 2-3pm when we'll get rain. So don't let it to the last minute to come! You will find me at The Market Place shopping mall between the doors to the town centre next to H&M and to the far away end where Primark is. Parking is on the top deck of the mall. I won't be trading tomorrow there. And if you miss me, you can find me next Saturday at Harwood Artisan Market at Longsight Methodist Church in Bolton.
On the menu are all my lovely pretzels, incl. a few vegan ones, sweet cinnamon pretzels, baked Cheesecake, and my ever expand range of gluten free, diabetic friendly Keto cakes and bakes! There is also a vegan gluten free Banana Avocado cake, but not on display, so pls ask for it, if this is one of the few things you can enjoy.

In my calendar! Looking forward to see my regular and new customers in Harwood!
Until then, my next market is next Sat&Sunday at The Market Place ( Primark building) , as part of Bolton Food Festival.

Not long to wait until our first of the Autumn Harwood Artisan Markets.
We have 52 stalls booked for each of the markets, there will be the delicious food and beverages at the Artisan Cafes and warm welcomes to one and all at all the markets from the OAG (Orange Apron Gang)

Almond & Linseed Bread, gluten-free, grain free, keto! It is very moist, good to toast and not falling apart like other gluten free bread. A real alternative with healthy seed oils and lots of fibre.
