Hey hope everyone's OK!
⚠️ Long post alert ⚠️
I've been debating if/what/when to post this announcement but I feel the time is right. It may come as a shock to some people but to my close friends maybe not so much. I've been baking for around 15 years & I am so proud of what I've created and achieved over the years. Looking back at where I started, I never imagined that I'd be at the level that I am now and all totally self taught. Most of my customers have become friends and I'm so grateful to each and everyone of you...However
🥺Now for the hard bit...
I've know for a while that I need a change, It's been tough working for myself through covid, my back injury, pregnancy & with a 4th baby added to our already crazy, busy family!
They say everything happens for a reason & last month totally out of the blue I was offered a job that has really got me excited to get back out there, helping people & making a change.
From May I'll be working for a charity helping new mums & infants with feeding & family support 🥰 I'm really looking forward to this new role, the hours & lifestyle will really suit around my family (I've worked weekends for so long, I've forgotten what it's like not too!) especially our little Elaina.
I'm not closing Cakes by Steph down as such, I'll continue to fulfil all the orders that I already have in the diary, however I won't be taking on any new orders until I'm settled and I will then make the final decision on what to do going forward.
I am really sorry to disappoint people by not taking orders on, but I have to do whats best for me & my family & put them first.
I am really sorry for any disappointment caused. Who knows what the future will hold?
Thank you again as always for your continued support!
Steph 💗
*All existing orders are 👍🏻 just message me as normal.
