📍IMPORTANT NOTICE📍
Anyone visiting Poppywood Alpacas this Sunday the 7th of June please be aware of The Ironman competition that is happening. There are some road closures and diversions in place so please make sure you plan your journey and take into account additional travel time may be needed to avoid delays. Alternative routes and maps are available on the Ironman website; https://www.ironman.com/races/im703-bolton/traffic-impact
The map below shows the road closures in pink and the red arrow shows where Poppywood Alpacas is. The only affected road that may cause additional travel time due to closure is Chorley New Road. The alternative route is to use Crown Lane (coming from Blackrod/Wigan/Westhoughton/Middlebrook/M61) and dog leg across to Lever Park Avenue. Turn right up Fearnhead Avenue, left into Pennine Road and to the very end where you turn left into Brownlow Road. Alternatively, Chorley Old Road is still open for those coming from Bolton direction. 🦙

The alpacas are loving being able to sunbathe🦙

This week we have 90 minute alpaca walks on Friday, Saturday & Sunday all at 11am (minimum age 10 to lead an alpaca, spectator tickets available), meet, greet & short walk experiences Saturday & Sunday both at 2pm (minimum age 4 to lead an alpaca), crafting activities, and our 'Feel Good Friday' session at 1pm.🎉🦙

Our alpacas are super fluffy and can't wait to meet you 🥰

The tearoom at Poppywood will be open
12.30 - 4pm during these days.
