It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything so I thought it was time I shared an update!
As many of you are aware, as well as Clare’s Cake Boutique, I’ve also been running a bookkeeping practice - Blue Elephant Bookkeeping
I’ve recently made the decision to work full time on my bookkeeing practice and as such I won’t be taking on any new cake orders - this won’t affect any orders that have already been placed.
This hasn’t been an easy decision to make - I’ve loved each and every one of the cakes I’ve made and get a little thrill every time when I see my clients reactions to something I’ve created for them. Sadly however, standing all day and the physical nature of cake making has taken its toll on my back and I need a chance to sit down sometimes! Also, with my son growing older, having my weekends booked up with deliveries has been tricky for family life.
I hope you all understand the decision I’ve made 😊. And I hope you all agree that I’ve gone out with a bang - below are photos of recent cakes!
Thank you to you all for your support and encouragement over the years - I wouldn’t have been able to create all the amazing cakes I’ve had the privilege of making, without all of your support and ideas! Clare x
