THE 70CM CAKE CHALLENGE 🖤

This one was a little different.
I had been wanting to try a long-format cake for a while, and when the opportunity came, I knew I had to take on the challenge.

But creating a 70cm cake is only half the story…

How do you chill it?
How do you move it onto a larger board?
How do you secure it?
And how do you actually get it to the venue in one piece? 😅
There was quite a bit of planning behind this cake before I even started decorating.
Then came the fun part — the details.
Deep tones, dramatic gold accents, fresh figs, grapes, blueberries and blackberries… so many berries — all brought together to create something bold, elegant and a little unexpected.

And finally, the delivery to Quob Park
My first time visiting this beautiful vineyard venue, and honestly, the setting made this cake feel even more special. 🍇✨

A new format. A new challenge. A new experience.
And now that I know I can make, chill, transport and deliver a 70cm cake in one piece…

I’m ready for the next one. 👀
