Payment and Deposits
Mrs Hayes Bakes requires a 30% deposit when booking. This secures your date in the diary and is non-refundable.

The final balance should be received by bank transfer 1 week (7 days) before your collection date. Failure to meet your payment commitments may mean that your order is unable to be handed over to you. Orders placed within 1 week of your collection date, or under £30 need to be paid in full within 24 hours. Failure to meet this payment commitment will mean your order will not be secured and will no

t go ahead. By paying your deposit, or in full, you are in agreement with these Terms and Conditions. Allergens
Due to the nature of the kitchen environment and wide variety of ingredients used whilst baking, Mrs Hayes Bakes can not cater to specific allergens. All orders are labelled with the appropriate allergens, and it is your responsibility to ensure any recipient(s) are aware of allergens within your baked goods order. All orders may contain traces of any of the 14 main allergens listed on the label. It is also your responsibility to advise us of any intolerances or allergies at point of ordering. If you have any concerns about ingredients in your order, please contact us to discuss. Inedible Items
Depending on design, your product may contain inedible elements (such as but not limited to: glitter card toppers, toothpicks, wooden dowels etc) You will be advised of such items but it is your responsibility to ensure all inedible items are removed before consumption. Damage to Cakes
Mrs Hayes Bakes holds no responsibility for any damaged caused to any orders once it has left us. Mrs Hayes Bakes ensures that a suitable box is provided and advice on how to store and transport your cake/ order is provided when you collect. Failure to adhere to the advice given may result in damage to your cake. Best Before Dates
Due to our bakes being made with natural ingredients they do not have a long shelf life like a supermarket equivalent. All cakes, cupcakes, cookies are best consumed within 3 days. Brownies/ blondies etc are best consumed within 7 days. Unless stated otherwise on certain products, all items are best stored out of the fridge to avoid changing the texture/ quality of the bake. Mrs Hayes Bakes holds no liability when goods have been consumed after best before dates. Photography
Mrs Hayes Bakes photograph all products made for marketing purposes. We reserve the right to use all photographs for display/ promotional purposes. Please advise if you require us to wait to post a picture after a certain date/ time to avoid the recipient seeing it before they should. Cancellation by Customers
In the event you need to cancel your order, please give us as much notice as possible. Deposits paid are non-refundable and non-transferable in any case. This is due to lost earnings by turning away bookings on your chosen date and any work that has already been completed on your order. Orders cancelled within 48 hours will require full payment. In the unlikely event of Mrs Hayes Bakes having to cancel your order due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to ill health. In line with Food Regulations, we aim to give as much notice as possible and refund any payments in full for orders that we are unable to fill. Changes to Order
Should you require to move your original collection date, please give us as much notice as possible. If we are unable to accommodate your new chosen date, the cancellation policy outlined above comes into play. You have up to 7 days before the agreed order date to notify me of any changes eg, size/design/flavour. Any changes after this date, we cannot guarantee that we can fulfil your requirements, and these may be subject to additional charges. Complaints
Due to the amount of work put into each and every order, we take them very seriously. Any issues must be brought to our attention within 48 hours of collection to give us fair opportunity to assess the nature of the complaint. Complaints regarding the decoration of a celebration cake can mostly be fixed very easily so these must be pointed out at the time of collection/ photo of order received so this gives us the opportunity to rectify them. Where the complaint is in regard to the quality of the cake/ baked good then the remainder of the order must be returned to us as soon as possible after cutting and within 24 hours to ensure we are able to fairly assess the nature of the complaint.
