I hope you’re all having a smashing weekend!
I honestly hate having to make a post like this and have been putting it off but lately I’ve had a more than a few occasions where people are turning up late to pick up cakes and not even messaging to let me know why. It's just radio silence.
I know life happens and sometimes things come up and i am always willing to work with you and get something that works for us both.
For those of you who have ordered from me before then you will know that I reach out before your collection day to arrange a suitable time for collection. 9 times out of 10 I will go with whatever time suits you and my orders are ALWAYS ready for when you want them.
So then I plan my day around what pick up time you've said works for you.
But for customers to just turn up late or just decide last minute to change their pick up time is not ok. I’m not a shop that’s open all day and people can just chap when they feel like it.
Soooooo PLEASE be considerate. If you’re running late then let me know as soon as you can.
And unfortunately from now on, if you miss your collection time with no texts or messages, then it will be rearranged to fit in with what works me and no refunds will be given. I will also be adding this into my terms and conditions.
I’m beyond fair with ppl. I've had collections from 9am right up to 10pm at night. i always try to accommodate. But the last 3 weekends, i've had people turn up over an hour or two late. It just doesn't work.
And if you read all the way to end, I appreciate all your orders and repeat custom and I don’t want to work on strict and fixed collection times because I know life can be a hectic and the majority of people do collect on time so I don’t want make life difficult for everyone.
