Well, August was really busy for Becws Emma but actually not much news to share! It felt like all I did was: plan menus, order stock, bake, decorate, clean up and stock the van.

Then out it went with Clare or Ursula, and most days (except one or two) it came back more or less empty. And that's all that happened on repeat! Which is exactly how it should be in the middle of the summer season.

I'm just back now from an end of summer mini break and ready to go for the autumn. Autumn should be a bit calmer and I might be able to take on a few more birthday orders again.

The cake van hatches are shut, oven off and aprons hung up as it's time for a few days break to enjoy the last of the summer myself before school starts back.

It's been a very busy, very successful summer on the cake van and very hot in the kitchen! Thanks to all my customers and followers, both new and returning for their support and purchases.

Huge thanks also to Ursula and Clare for their hard work - I would not be able to bake or sell half as much without them nor would I be able to have many days off if I was doing all the cake van sales myself.

The cake van will be back in Port on Thurs 3rd Sep.

Caravan Site pop ups are open to all, but no visitor car parking on site.

Clare is trying to stay dry under the van hatch with the cake van today, outside the Ganolfan. Cake van may leave mid afternoon, due to the weather so pop down early for your cakes today!

I'm handing the van over to Clare and Ursula tomorrow so that I can have a break and some family time over the weekend.

Clare has arrived at Cake HQ to give the van a tidy up and organise before it goes out tomorrow.

Cake Van will be in Port, outside the Ganolfan tomorrow from 9:00. The van may leave a bit earlier if it is very wet in the afternoon so grab your goodies in the morning. Menu pinned to the top of the page.
