Hi I'm Helena Forrest
I live in Blackwood and make cakes (or if your French gateaux), see my business name makes sense now :-)

I make celebration cakes for any occasion, I go from the sublime to the ridicules in cake, things that will make you laugh to things that are just cute. If you have an idea no matter how silly it sounds I will see if I can make it out of cake or we can plan a cake togethe

I am a home baker, my kitchen has been inspected by our local council and they gave the business a 5 star hygiene rating. I also have business insurance this may sound a silly thing to write but its for your piece of mind to prove even working from home everything is covered.

I'd like to thank you all for your custom, liking my page and my posts
The last 13 years baking and decorating cakes have been full of up and downs but the time has now come, a new chapter.

I am still closed and I've not taken anymore orders.

This has been a hard decision to make but I'm closing Blackwood Forrest Gateaux.

I'd like to thank all my customers and followers from over the years, I've made some lovely friends and I will miss you all

All customers that have placed orders and paid deposit don't worry I'm still doing your cakes, I will be doing all the cakes booked in (which does take me to 2024)
I will be keep the page open till I do my last cake but will not be taking anymore orders.
