Blackpool Cakes by Sue Summers Creative Cakes of Blackpool I have a collection of photographs and books to provide inspiration.

Blackpool Cakes is my business and my passion, having developed from what started as a hobby and having developed largely by word of mouth. I have been producing cakes for over 30 years, since I earned my City & Guilds qualification back in 1987 and am an active member of the British Sugarcraft Guild, frequently demonstrating icing techniques to beginners, enthusiasts and the experienced alike. I

operate my one-to-one service from home, and clients are more that welcome to visit (by appointment) to discuss ideas for their cake. As an experienced cake decorator, each cake I produce is unique and personalised to the clients own tastes and requirements. Don’t worry you haven’t a clue about the style of cake you are looking for – I am certain that after chatting with you for a short while, we will be able to come up with some ideas. I create a whole range of cakes from children’s birthday cakes, through anniversaries, retirements, corporate, christenings and special occasions to my favourites – wedding cakes. The Wedding Cake service I provide will usually include delivery to the venue and setting up the cake – you’ll have plenty of other things to be thinking about on the day! In fact, I much prefer to deliver the cake, with venues up to 30 miles of Blackpool being quite normal. If t is of help, payment by instalments can be arranged, at no additional cost.

August was a little quieter than usual while I enjoyed some holiday time, but there were still some lovely cakes coming out of the kitchen! ❤️

Including a couple of beautiful wedding cakes, alongside a special birthday creation. 💒🎂

We’re now looking ahead to the coming months and would love to create more bespoke wedding cakes for your special day.

✨ July may have been a little quieter… ✨

With so many families heading off on their summer holidays (including me! 😉 ), there were fewer cakes leaving the kitchen this month.

That didn’t stop me creating some beautiful celebration cakes though… from elegant wedding designs to fun birthday creations, every cake was made with the same love and attention to detail.

Thank you to everyone who chose me to be part of your special occasions 💕

Now it’s on to August, and I can’t wait to see what creations this month brings!
