❌ We are now closed ❌
It’s with a very heavy heart that I announce that we are now closed. I’ve put off writing this post as it absolutely breaks my heart, but I need to be honest with myself that we just don’t have an option to continue.
We recently found out that my 6 year old has coeliac disease and as a result, any cross contamination with wheat and gluten (even a crumb!) could make her extremely poorly now her body is repairing the damage caused.
Mixing flour can cause it to be air borne and the particles can get onto and into everything and I’m sure you can appreciate that to me, her health will always come first and any risks need to be eliminated ❤️
Gluten free bakes aren’t something that I’ve ever practiced or thought about before, and building up a new specialised customer base and forking out for new cake equipment just isn’t something that is currently practical.
I cannot believe what started off 8 years ago as little side venture keeping me busy in the evenings, had turned into a full blown successful business in the middle of a pandemic!
I am forever thankful for every one of my lovely and loyal customers who have ever placed an order, big or small, 1 or 15! It’s been an absolutely amazing ride!
