💝 VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES – Activities , Befriending or Gardening

Do you enjoy bringing joy to others? Could you spare a few hours each week to make a real difference?
We’re looking for a friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to help brighten the days of our residents. In this rewarding role, you might:
✅ Support trips and outings
✅ One to one befriending and building friendships
✅ Helping to keep our care home gardens looking beautiful for our residents
✅ Lend a hand to our activity coordinator
✅ Share a skill—like music, crafts, flower arranging, or storytelling
You’ll meet new people, build meaningful connections, and become part of a vibrant, caring community.

What better way to spend our afternoon than enjoying a beautiful church service out in the sunshine (and shade) ☀️🌳
A big thank you to Joseph, our Chaplain, who led such a lovely service while residents sat outside, soaking up the fresh air and peaceful atmosphere.
Joseph even treated us to some singing, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed — especially with a refreshing ice lolly in hand 🍦😊
Moments like these bring so much joy to our day 💛

A Warm Day at Pennystone Court ☀️
With the weather a little too warm to be outdoors today, some of our residents stayed cool inside and enjoyed a fun and relaxing quiz together 🌼
There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and great teamwork as everyone joined in. It was a lovely way to spend time together while keeping comfortable 💛
Moments like these remind us that it’s not about the weather—it’s about the company and creating happy memories 😊

🌞🍦 A Lovely Day in the Garden at Pennystone Court 🍦🌞

What a beautiful day it’s been! Our residents made the most of the sunshine, spending time out in the garden enjoying the fresh air and lovely surroundings. 🌼🌿

To make it even sweeter, everyone treated themselves to some refreshing ice lollies – the perfect way to cool down and bring a few extra smiles all around! 😊💛

Days like these are what it’s all about – good weather, good company, and simple pleasures. ☀️
