🏆❤️ WE DIDN'T WIN… BUT WE'RE STILL CELEBRATING! ❤️🏆
Well… the SUB36 Business Awards didn't quite go the way we'd hoped last night! 🤣🥂
Our Gracie didn't come home with either of the two awards she was nominated for.
Was she disappointed? Of course she was!
But do you know what she said?
“I didn't need to win, because I'm already winning with my customers and my team!” 🥹
And THAT right there is why we're so incredibly proud of her.
At just 17 years old, Gracie became a finalist for TWO business awards. She's now 18, and already has so much to be proud of!
Not just for what she's achieved personally, but for everything we've built together as a family and a team. ❤️
And let's face it… at least we all got to scrub up, swap our bakery clothes for something a bit more glamorous and enjoy a rare night out! 💃🥂🤣
We might not have brought home a trophy, but we had a brilliant evening celebrating how far we've come.
And as for Gracie…
We're going to print her a lovely PARTICIPATION CERTIFICATE to commemorate the occasion! 📜🏅
She is, quite frankly, ABSOLUTELY NOT THRILLED about this idea. 🤣🤣
Personally, I think it'll look lovely framed in the bakery!
🎉 BUT THE CELEBRATIONS AREN'T OVER! 🎉
Just because we didn't win doesn't mean we're not celebrating today!
The bakery is ALL DECORATED, because we're celebrating Gracie, our fantastic team and everything we've achieved together!
And of course, no celebration at The Moorings would be complete without something delicious…

We may not have won an award last night, but we're lucky enough to have something worth far more…
