I loved making this cake, so simple and elegant. Happy Anniversary to my good friend Joan and husband Ian. I hope you Both had a lovely day with your gorgeous family. This cake was red velvet with white chocolate and raspberry frosting and handmade sugar paste roses and ivy.

My fudge is selling well at Arbikie Distillery. I also bake shortbread cookies for their shop and cupcakes, bread rolls, tiffin and flapjacks for the cafe. Well worth a visit for a distillery tour or a snack/lunch while overlooking Lunan Bay.

My latest wedding cake. This one was lemon cake with lemon frosting and lemon curd between the layers on the bottom and red velvet with raspberry ripple frosting on top. Handmade flowers except the gyp to match the couple’s mood board. This one was being driven to Edinburgh - I was nervous and so were the couple who collected the cake. I haven’t heard any horror stories yet, so fingers crossed they made it to the venue safely.
