Iv had this post saved on my phone since November- I think to give myself time to decide if I was making the right decision.
But sometimes when you know- you know.
I have loved every minute of Jessicakes but this year I felt like I lost something and realised my heart was no longer in it.
As we are coming to the end of 2021 I am ready to close this chapter and spend the remainder of this month recharging and rebooting myself.

While I don’t know fully what the new year holds I am definitely excited and look forward to explore new things and potentially a new business. But who knows. And maybe one day Jessicakes will be back. But for now it is Goodbye.

I just want to take this time to thank my wonderful customers and to wish you all a wonderful Christmas and New Year.
However you spend it, Keep Safe .

✨The Last Wedding Cake✨

I had the absolute pleasure of making this StarWars, Harry Potter, Marvel themed cake last week.
Each tier was a different flavour-
✨Top tier was a lemon sponge with lemon buttercream and lemon curd
✨Middle tier was classic Victoria sponge with vanilla buttercream and strawberry jam.
✨Bottom cake was chocolate with a chocolate buttercream.

It’s safe to say summer and any extended heatwave is definitely over. The air is crispier, the nights are darker and the leaves are golden.
As much as I love summer I am definitely ready for the cosy nights, fluffy jumpers, and hot cups of cocoa. Is anyone one else?

Something to go perfect with those Autumn feels is this Apple Caramel cake made with caramel buttercream and filled with a toffee apple filling. Decorated with a buttercream wreath and handmade pumpkin and leaves.
