Happy Monday Let’s start with cake

This was a two flavour box
🧁Raspberry and Lemon
🧁Chocolate and Salted caramel

The buttercream is Italian meringue, silky smooth and not too sweet and takes on flavours well. I always add fresh fruit and make the different components needed from scratch so the raspberry buttercream has fresh puréed raspberries and the Salted caramel is always homemade.

Did you know I run my business (and always have) alongside a full time job.
It can be challenging sometimes to manage both but I think I’m quite good knowing when i need to slow things in the business.
Summer especially August is a slow month for many so not much posting/baking was happening.
September however is a month I love, as i take some time out to have a break from the business and also take annual leave from my day job so it’s a proper break to reset across the board ready for a new season.
Let the break begin
see you in 2 weeks 😊x
