Well, what a fabulous day we had yesterday! With my daughter by my side and my family behind me, endlessly supporting me I feel like the luckiest girl in the world!

While I have time I thought I'd also share these beauties!
My sourdough fruit loaves, packed with fig, sultanas and raisins. Mixed with some spelt flour and pumpkin seeds!
I soaked the fruit in vanilla essence too! Come on, join the party today!!

Did you know that these simple loaves are pretty powerful and full of goodness for you!
It supports your gut health with its diverse range of bacteria, the loaves are actually a prebiotic. Because of the fermentation process the yeast consumes the sugars and so it is super low on the glycemic index too.

The penultimate day of holiday means time to experiment with some different flour! Thank you for sending me some to mess about with!;

I've been doing some taste testing and talking with different bakers while away and am excited to try out what I've learnt. I'll let you know how it all goes!
