Last year, I asked Paul (the absolute legend) if he’d star in a little advert for our Father’s Day campaign.

A year later, I’m reposting it because it’s just too lovely not to share again. It’s a little reminder of all the things dads do behind the scenes — the rushing around, the fixing, the helping, the always-being-there moments that often go unnoticed.

And honestly? They deserve treating too.

While we’ve since retired our shortbread tins, this video definitely deserved another outing (and serves as a gentle reminder that Father’s Day is this Sunday 👀).

One of the reasons I started Micci’s Biccies was the idea of bringing people together through a shared love of baked goods. 💛

As demonstrated here by my grandad, cheekily enjoying the boxes of cookies my auntie ordered for him for Father’s Day. 🥹🍪

Honestly, these photos absolutely melt my heart and give me a little chuckle too. Especially since he clearly wasn’t in the mood for sharing any… 😅

Moments like these remind me that cookies aren’t just cookies but little excuses to connect and make memories together.

Say hello to Dairy-Frieda 🌱

After lots of brilliant suggestions from you all, we have FINALLY chosen a name that is worth of her stature.

Packed vegan white, milk and dark chocolate and delicately sprinkled with sea salt - we took your advice on board and tweaked her to perfection

Thank you to everyone who submitted your ideas, this one was definitely a team effort. As for the brilliant namer of this cookie, we’ll be in touch with your prize! 🙌🏽

So, without further ado, Dairy-Frieda is now ready for her debut 💖

Bristol, you were fantastic! 💖

Despite the shocking weather on Saturday, we powered through and had an amazing weekend. We met so many lovely people, connected with incredible traders, and learnt so much from the experience.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, supported us, and made the festival so memorable. We’re so grateful for all the wonderful customers and fellow traders we had the pleasure of meeting.

Bristol, we’ll definitely be back!

We’ve also got three more pop-ups planned for the summer, so keep an eye on our page for upcoming dates.

It’s official gang

Micci’s Biccies is hitting up BRISTOL!

Last week we got moved up the waiting list and accepted a last minute place at Bristol Food Festival 😆

We are OVER THE MOON, if not a little nervous (especially about the weather 😬)

Either way, we’re PUMPED and won’t let a little rain stop us from serving up our finest cookies 💪
