Another one bites the dust!

- Chocolate cake
- Milk chocolate ganache filling
- White chocolate drip
- Chocolate Honeycomb covered (milk, white & dark 👀)
- Chocolate buttercream
- Combat Cubs making an appearance

All chocolate was of course sourced from Military chef Ltd - giving us the best honeycomb to decorate 👌🏽

Wasn't going to post on the grid because this wasn't actually the final cake - but in typical fashion, I forgot to get a photo 😂

- Wobbly lines thanks to a dodgy tip - that decided to only play up HALFWAY through decorating.
- Several failed attempts at the lace that you can't even see in this photo - fondant and science to the rescue.
- Somehow the quickest cake I've ever decorated though 🤷🏼‍♀️
- First time doing a chocolate shoe, then covered it in lace, which i also didn't get a photo of.

One thing I can promise - I bake with love, organic ingredients and a lot of hope 😂
One thing I can also promise, I will not get a decent photo 🫠

But hey hoe! Let's keep it real here!

And our little bento cake - the first for the celebrations!
A beautiful salted caramel and chocolate ganache cake - I mean just LOOK at those layers 😍
Guess the engineering qualifications finally came in handy after all 👀🤣

Oh and by all means, you can ask for more buttercream if you like it - I just know my family! 🫶🏽🎂

A rare occasion where I get to see cake guts this weekend!
It's bittersweet, as a baker, you are fully aware of the stress, sweat and tears that can go into your cakes, so watching them be butchered and ruined in front of your eyes kinda hurts!
BUT on the plus side, you get to see just how immaculate your ratios are, and the stressing is completely worth it 👌🏽

Lemon and white choc ganache 60th birthday cake (number 2) for the mother this weekend!

First ever rectangular cake.
