What started out as a hobby after having to give up full time employment following the birth of my little girl Freya, has now turned into my full time job for the last 10 years. With some great feedback from friends and family and of course the mums at the school gate, I decided to take it a little more seriously. I booked myself into some local cake decorating classes which I thoroughly enjoyed a

nd gained a fantastic knowledge in the world of cake design. Scrumptious Cupcakes by Clare was born

​Initially it was only cupcakes I was baking which soon progressed into giant cupcakes of various designs. It wasn't long before I was being asked to create more advanced technical cakes known as celebration cakes. This also included wedding cakes which naturally made me a little nervous.

​Over the years my confidence has grown along with a greater ability to create some delicious and spectacular cakes, so please take some time to browse through my galleries to give you an idea of what work I do. I love to make cakes that don't look like cakes, sculptures of animals and characters there's not many people that can achieve this in the area

Scrumptious Cupcakes by Clare is based in Billingshurst West Sussex for collection but I can also deliver to the surrounding area at a small additional charge. I cover West Sussex, Surrey and South of England.
