Great first day at Living North Live @
Newcastle Racecourse. Met some lovely people and got some very nice comments. One lady bought 1 flapjack to take home, ate it as she was going round Living North and came back and bought a box of 8! I hope she managed to get them home.

Hello Flapjackers

Having just spent my last 2 days off my 👩🏻‍🍳 work in meetings with web/designers and printers I thought I would update you. We can now tell you that Fat Tom’s Flapjacks is morphing into “The Teesside Flapjack Company Ltd.” We have a unique but simple image (launching soon).

1. Yesterday I saw a draft version of the
website. I need to provide some photos and we need to add in the new social media pages and PDF/QR links for stockists etc.
2. Some new clothing, aprons and hoodies underway.
3. Mailing boxes - initially just some simple Kraft mailing boxes but leading to fully printed boxes.
4. Labelling galore
5. App links to parcelforce for our tracked 24 parcels to your door!
6. Printed grease proof paper for box liners
7. Online product brochures
8. Allergen booklets (stockists)
9. Retail boxes - multi flavour boxes
10. POS leaflets
11. Loyalty cards etc
…….and more!

We should be live by 3rd week in February ready for Easter subscriptions hint hint!

Good afternoon flapjackers. We’re almost at the finish line. Little bits more to do here and there and packaging and labels to print in January but ……..

All 17 flapjacks baked and tweaked and recipes adjusted as we need wrapped bars for retail to create mixed boxes for sale as well as boxes for food distribution which will be distributed to customers from their frozen stock and then our own packaging and labels for our own e-shop. And it’s almost December and I’m working as hard as I can on my days off which are getting limited due to the many Christmas events at the other job! 🤣👩🏻‍🍳

It should all come together shortly and then we’ll go for a big reveal! x

Some new flavours to add to the ones you already love. Couple of changes to some that we had that will now be specials and some interesting combos. There should be something for everyone.

The products photoshoot took place last Friday with EnA Photography, the wonderful Ian. My first experience of scene setting. I just need a mugshot for the “about” page and all set to go. Those wonderful photos will also help create our new online brochure for wholesale clients.

Excited for what is to come in the New Year. 2025 is going to be busy as my “TikTok” girl is getting married in early May so that side may be on hold as there is lots to think about and I’m making all the wedding brownies for her!

Looking forward to the big reveal shortly.
In the meantime, a few photos from our new look flavours. They will be more uniformly sliced but these are just for promos. There will be GF and Vegan sections too.

Hello flapjackers

A good morning spent with the designer whom is my rock at the moment for all sorts, not just printing and designing but business advice etc.

Why go for box labels and sleeves etc when you can go for a printed box and it’s going to be eye catching and hard to miss and yes, it’s all still under wraps but we’re moving forward at a rapid pace now. So much still to do.

✅tag line created
✅QR Code in development
✅stockists meetings booked
✅allergen booklet underway for stockists
✅allergen labels for packaging underway
✅single serving packaging sleeves designed and waiting to print
✅registered logos done
✅marketing lists created
✅new social media sites underway
✅printed parchment - in design
✅back story - written - to publish
✅FAQ’s and T/C’s - done
✅products shoot - still to do but imminent
✅subscription packages named
✅new stationery etc etc

…….and then there is still a Chef job to commit to! One funds the other at the moment but on days where nothing seems to go to plan, or there’s not enough time due to lengthy shifts etc suddenly there is a picture for the jigsaw
and the race gathers pace again.
